Have you ever wondered why some people, particularly business leaders, seem to have situations under control even during uncertain periods? The answer is their talents, skills and passion; plus, they have the perfect knowledge about what’s happening in the industry.
In my QNET business, and when I build my entrepreneurship one day, I aspire to be one of those businesswomen who can control offsets. But it was so not the case in my initial days in business. Obviously, that was because I lacked knowledge and plan.
Instead of learning why I got rejected, I used do make plans and meet more new people to cover up the rejections. Even though meeting more new target audiences is good, not learning why I got rejected can trap me in the stage of no or slow growth.
5 best lessons learned from the early days of QNET Business

In many other aspects, like for network, product sales, skills and more, there are plenty of lessons to learn. If a businessperson is willing to learn from the mistakes of initial days, they can avoid the failures in the future. The growth of a business, from my experience, depends on the willingness of the business owner to learn. My mentor in business once told me that a successful and highly effective individual would never stop learning.
Never stop learning
The first lesson I learned is never to stop learning. It’s a never-ending process of growth. I love learning new things; this made it easier to research the direct selling industry. Learning has given me insight and imagination, which helped me during uncertain periods. In business, it’s all about making the right choices and plans. The number one thing you need for making the right choice is knowledge. The decision to learn more will be a gamechanger in business. I expanded my knowledge by reading books, business magazines and newspapers regularly.
Making a strategy will be a breakthrough
I can’t stress this point enough; business strategy is very much crucial. It has a long-term impact on a business. Just because it’s easy to enter the direct selling industry or anybody can do the business does not mean that strategy is unnecessary. In the initial days, I learned from my research that strategy could create a breakthrough in one’s business. With a set of strategies, it is easier to survive offsets. In addition, I did not stop with a single strategy. Instead, I made several short-term plans and goals to ensure productivity.
Facing rejections in direct selling
Rejection is a necessary lesson every direct seller will learn. It can be very discouraging, considering the amount of effort and time you spend. However, learning the possibility of failure in business can stop disappointment. I learned this lesson the hard way; it was demotivating to get rejected by customers. I had to go through the stage of despair to understand that failures are inevitable. In business, you can always turn things around. With hard work, strategy and a more careful selection of target audience, more people started appreciating the business prospect.
The team can help a lot
Direct selling has a lot to offer. It’s certainly not just about product sales, and the direct sellers are a lot more than intermediaries between the company and customer. In QNET direct selling, the independent representative have the option to build a network under them. The network is about people who are passionate about business. Along with the team, one can carry out the retail business. It’s much more profitable and provides a better opportunity for growth. Team spirit and working well with other business owners is mutually beneficial.
Skills can save your business
Never underestimate the value of business skills in direct selling. Indeed, you don’t require skills or professional development to join a direct sale. However, to develop it into a strong business and ensure a steady flow of income, core business skills are essential. Skills like communication, marketing, networking and management can be developed while working as a direct seller. In my case, I spent my first couple of months learning essential skills. It was a great encouragement in the coming months when I started meeting new people and making more presentations.
Learning is a necessity in business success. As I was passionate about learning, it was so much easier for me to run the business. None of the learning side was hard but fun. Having an interest in learning can help a businessperson a lot. I learned these top business requirements and details through my QNET business. There’s still a lot more to learn, which I think would help me in the future.
